Official Running Club Bridge Run Training

An 9-week running program designed for both novice and advanced runners.

  • Meets on Tuesdays, 6.15-7:30 pm in Mt Pleasant
  • January 26 - March 23
  • Cost (non-refundable) - $95 (non-members), $75 (members).

About Our Program

If you're a beginner, we'll assume that you know nothing about running and that you're there to get on the road. If you doctor has cleared you to exercise, we're ready for you. Your speed doesn't matter; only your desire to improve week by week matters. We'll start out with walking and running and progress to running an entire race.

If you're a more advanced runner, we'll work on your endurance and speed with you to take your training to a new level. If you've never worked with a coach before, you'll quickly realize how beneficial the coaching relationship can be and how running with others with similar goals will lead to improved performance.

About our Coaches

Coach Irv Batten is the owner of On the Run, a specialty running store located in Mount Pleasant. He coaches numerous local runners as well as high school athletes. Coach Greg Shore is a Road Runners Club of America certified running coach. His passion is to help the beginning runner get on the road and discover the athlete that is hiding inside.
