Thank you for helping make the 2012 Floppin' Flounder 5K a huge success. The Running Club raised close to $3,000, which will be split between the club and the Sullivan's Island Volunteer Fire Department. We offer a special thanks to Triangle Char & Bar for their sponsorship and for providing breakfast burritos for the post-race party. Also, thank you to our volunteer group comprised of fellow CRC members.
We had 330 finishers up from 196 last year. The unseasonably cool conditions were a welcome surprise for runners and spectators.
We will begin planning for the 30th Annual Charlie Post Classic 15K/5K which is set for January 26th, 2013. To commemorate the three-decade anniversary, we'll be promoting a special early registration offer to CRC members, so stay tuned for further updates. If you are interested helping with the race, please let us know.
