Volunteer at the Floppin' Flounder 5K
Volunteer Coach
The City of Charleston Recreation Department is looking for a
multiple Volunteer Coaches, including one Head Volunteer Coach for the West Ashley Youth Track & Field team. They will hold practice at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at either James Island High school or James Island Middle school. If you are interested, please contact Rashawn Nelson at

Meeting Street Academy
Lori Lafevre of Meeting Street Academy recently started a running program for some students at the school. These students are training for their first 5K and they need your help! Lori would like to find runners to run with these students during the school day, and help them navigate their first 5K Race. They are also seeking donations for shoes and race registration fees.
